Robin Rhode

The inaugural exhibition of Perry Rubenstein’s 23rd Street gallery featured the work of South African artist Robin Rhode in his first solo exhibition in New York.  Presenting a series of new photographs and videos, the exhibition also included a live performance by the artist at the opening reception.  Primarily engaged in performance-based works, Rhode consistently employs a wide variety of media including photography, video and drawing, augmenting his artistic vocabulary.
